EXPERIENCE THE RHEINHESSEN WINE COUNTRY AT ITS BEST
Ideally situated along the Rheinhöhenweg Trail, the Heise Winery invites you to stop by and sample our masterfully executed red, rosé and white wines, including the legendary Rieslings of the Roter Hang, or Red Slope.
We serve some 25 different wines, including Seccos and sparkling wines, along with grape liqueurs, brandy distilled from grape pomace, and grape juice, complemented by light dishes typical to the region. Here, every guest is sure to find something to his or her taste. Treat yourself to a good drop and immerse yourself in the incredible beauty of our vineyard landscape!
Our two terraces occupy an enviable location directly overlooking the vineyards and can seat up to 80 guests at a time. Inside, our tasteful, warm and welcoming rooms with classic-style furnishings can accommodate an additional 80 guests.
Should you seek a break from the everyday that is sure to deliver calm and relaxation, or a place to stay as you travel through our region, you are most welcome here with us, along the Rhine Terrace hiking trail and Rhine cycling path!

Thanks to frequent train connections between Mainz and Worms, the journey to Nierstein via public transportation is easy. A 10-minute walk from the train station leads to our winery. Those who arrive by car will find ample parking in the vicinity.
You will no doubt appreciate our flexibility: From a Secco reception to a guided tour of the cellar, lunch or dinner— we can adapt to your needs! We can serve up to 100 guests in our tavern.

Our cooperation ” AG Straußwirtschaften und Gutsschänken” surprises and spoils you with Rheinhessen’s best loved culinary specialties and excellent wine. Our “Wine meets …” dates offer you sumptuous strolls through the seasonal delights of Rheinhessen in a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy a break at the culinary home of “Grumbeerbrieh,” “Spundekäs” and other delicious dishes.
These evenings of the “AG Straußwirtschaften und Gutsschänken” are both educational and entertaining. The emphasis here is on fun and relaxation.
